Epcot's Dive Quest

Epcot DiveQuest is quite the unique scuba diving experience where, you can dive beneath the seas to see many beautiful sea creatures. Guests who are certified in scuba diving get to swim with hundreds of different creatures including angelfish, sea turtles, dolphins, eagle rays and sharks. Anyone from the ages of 10 to 14 must have a certified diver with them at all times.

Most kids and adults all say that the experience of scuba diving is the most wonderful feeling in the world, it feels as if you have transformed into a sea animal, free to explore reefs and other forms of life. While on this dive the water will be clear, still and cool, making the experience risk free and fun for all.

In DiveQuest, you will be accompanied by an experienced scuba diver who will teach you about wildlife in the ocean. If you are not certified in scuba diving, like me, there are other places where you can dive.

Main Street Electrical Parade

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Disneyland proudly presents our spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination. In thousands of sparkling lights, and electro-synthe-magnetic musical sounds: the Main Street Electrical Parade!"

This parade is the most dazzling parade I've seen. Thousands of beautiful lights light up the night as Disney's parade makes its way down Main Street U.S.A. through the Magic Kingdom Park. The electrical parade features floats and live performers that are covered in thousands of electronically-controlled lights. They have synchronized soundtracks, which are triggered by radio control, along key areas of the parade route. The parade stops periodically to allow the performers to dance for you.

It's so much fun to watch the performances and sing along with the performers. The audience stands on the sidewalks with ice cream, light up wands, necklaces and rings.

For a while, the electrical parade was actually removed from Disney. However, in February of 2010, they decided to bring it back.  Don't miss out on this spectacular event!

Pirates of the Caribbean

I'm sure most, if not all of you, have seen all three of the Pirates movies. If not, they are definitely something you should watch. Disney, as many of you may know, has a ride that served as a model for the movies. They just decided to add Johnny Depp's character to the ride; he was physically there acting as his character for awhile until they made his mannequin. This boat ride takes you back in time to a land where Pirates ruled and chaos was a natural occurrence.

As you ride through the waters on your boat, you'll hear the song "A Pirates life for me". You'll also overhear the pirates talking to each other and plotting their next attack. There are many similarities to the ride and the movie; for example, you see the three men with the keys begging the dog to let them out. Johnny Depp's character pops in and out of barrels of alcohol, while trying to track down crew members for the Black Pearl.

Throughout the ride, you'll see pirates, drinking and fights. Nothing really violent of course; just little scenes of a pirate's life. You can even see fake gold in various places during the ride. It's been awhile since I've been on this ride and I would love to go back!
